New President of the Japanese Society of Nutrition and Food Science (JSNFS)

Dr.Kazumi Yagasaki, a professor of Institute of Symbiotic Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, took over the presidency from the former president Dr. Seiichi Homma (Tokyo University of Agriculture) on May 5, 2008 and will steer the society for the next two years.
 
The new president hopes to establish a close relationship with the Nutritional Societies of other countries, especially in Asia, as the former president Dr. Homma did.
